Marketing Consultant Wanted!

Lincolnshire's diverse heritage sites offer rich opportunities to explore the past, and many already have educational programs for young visitors. However, some venues aim to improve how they attract and engage young people.

To ensure their long-term relevance and protect the heritage they safeguard, these sites must adapt to the interests of young people and families. This is where the Future of the Past project comes in.

The successful consultant or company will join the project at an exciting stage — at the beginning of its second year. SoundLincs is seeking an experienced marketing consultant or agency to collaborate with the six heritage venues involved in the project. The primary focus will be to develop and enhance the marketing strategies for these venues, making them more appealing and accessible to young people, families, and the wider public.

Responsibilities include:

• Marketing Strategy Development

• Providing Marketing Training

• Promotion of the Project

• Collaboration with Local Tourism Teams

Requirements include:

• Proven track record of engaging and working with heritage venues, cultural institutions, or similar sectors.

• Creative and innovative approach to marketing with the ability to deliver engaging, modern, and impactful campaigns.

• Ability to ensure that marketing strategies and materials are inclusive and engage a broad audience, including young people and families.

• Consultant must hold Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

The applicant should submit a quote to a maximum £7,500. The payment schedule will be agreed upon with the successful consultant. The initial contract will run from August 2025 to April 2026 with continuation subject to review for year 3.
