Young Creatives Promote Gainsborough Heritage Centre Through Innovative Advert

The Gainsborough Heritage Centre recently saw a fresh wave of energy and creativity as a group of young people took on the challenge of creating an advert to showcase the centre’s unique history and offerings. This project not only brought new attention to the heritage site but also highlighted the talents and perspectives of the younger generation. Their work offers a glimpse into how heritage sites can connect with modern audiences through creative storytelling.

One of the most valuable aspects of this project was the collaboration between the young team members and the heritage centre staff. The young creatives spent time researching the centre’s history, talking to the volunteers and making decisions about which areas to focus on. They also learned practical skills in video production, scriptwriting, and editing.

The advert focuses on several key features of the Gainsborough Heritage Centre that make it special including the Roman times, 1940's and the fact the Centre used to be the Telephone Exchange.
